Shilpa and Spyros were referred to CuspConcepts by a couple of my favorite clients. They are both doctors in the US.
Shilpa is a South-Indian while Spyros is Greek. We were majorly fascinated capturing both their traditions. Especially the dance by the groom, while his family members knelt down and clapped their hands to the beat of this Greek song. It was awesome to watch!
Their wedding was at the Bhoganandeshwara Temple at the foothills of Nandi Hills.
Only the close family and friends were invited for the wedding. When the bride and groom arrived at the venue, Spyros was given a challenge, he had to convince Shilpa’s side of the family, why he was the one she should marry.
Spyros managed to convince Shilpa’s sister, rather bribed her with a designer bag. :)
Both of them would whisper things into each others ears throughout the wedding. Sweet!
The rituals started off pretty instantly. Spyros was now 100% Indian Groom.
This priest is one of my favorite priests, he explains all the rituals in English as well.
Somebody had given Spyros all the information about all the fun rituals. He was upto speed with all the challenges. :)
The priest asked them to look at each other to confirm if they were the right people. I love this picture! :)
Skipping a few rituals and directly going to the main ritual.
Spyros tied the knot and they were officially now Husband and Wife by Hindu Law.
Akki-dhaare was a lot of fun.
The priest was explaining the significance of the Arundathi Nakshtra.
Spryos was a true gentleman! Let Shilpa win all the time. :)
Shilpa and Spyros. Congratulations. You make a wonderful couple! :)
Thank you for choosing CuspConcepts.
Wish you the best in life wherever you are!
