115. Priyanka and Hemanth
Priyanka and Hemanth called me probably with just 1 week before their wedding day and as you already know, I said yes. They are such a fun couple. Interesting Love story too, they know each other for around 3 years and work in the same company. And this one company is giving me a lot of clients. :) Thank you Qualcomm. They were having so much fun during the wedding, always smiling.
The wedding was at Gurunarasimha Kalyana Mantapa on Bull Temple road in Basavangudi. Every time I shoot here it’s a very different experience.
What’s a wedding without a little bit of stress. The ‘Peta’ went missing and it was fun documenting the search. Where was it? With the priest ofcourse. :P (Spot the priest lifting the peta)
Don’t worry Hemanth, the peta was in good hands. :)
I could see light flashes coming from the Bride’s room, so I knew she was ready.
Noticed this frame with one of the seniors in the family playing guard at the room’s entrance. I had to click it. :)
Managed to steal the bride for some portraits before the rituals started off. Look at her glowing.
Check the horse embroidery. Never seen that before. Later got to know that Priyanka loves horses.
The spot light was on the Groom getting ready to be welcomed by the bride’s family.
Any auspicious occasion has to be blessed by the breaking of a coconut.
My favorite shot at a Brahmin wedding, I’d be waiting for this ritual where both the sides of the families bless each other. I’d love to open my mouth and stand, probably get a few rice crisps in your mouth too. :P
This was funny. You’ll know why. They were both separated by the ‘antharapata’….
Look at the excitement.
And when they exchanged the garlands, one of Hemanth’s garlands which was already on him went around Priyanka too. How did it happen? No idea. But they were in a lasso. :P
Skipping a few rituals and here’s the main one. This is what I’d mentioned earlier, look at the smile. Looks like they were definitely waiting for this moment for many years now.
Father of the Bride wishing all the best.
Always love to shoot the homa at a wedding. This one was decorated well.
They Danced!
They touched fore-heads!
She looks rather comfortable don’t you think. ;)
Love this ritual too. Both the parents of the couple joining hands. The main intention of a wedding.
Got to take some pictures of the wonderful couple before I packed up. Look at them. So adorable.
Congratulations guys! Wish you all the best in life.
I know you had a blast in New Zealand. Priyanka thank you for the lovely feedback you left on the CuspConcepts FB page.
Thank you for choosing CuspConcepts. :)
